Yarns a hanging
The yarn was hung by the chimney with care in the hopes that St. Smoke Removal would soon be there. Ok, so I'm not very original. lol I checked on said yarn that is hanging in the GARAGE as I have no chimney and while it doesn't seem to be as strong, it does still smell. I did see on Yarndex that the rayon Fiesta yarn is hand washable so I figure if I can get it to a point when I can knit with it, then I'll hand wash the scarf when it is completed. I also haven't made it to the liquor store to try the vodka cure yet. I will do that eventually.
Not much to report. Went to Barnes and Noble for the Monday knitting group. I was a little out of it from lack of sleep but I made some progress on the baby blanket. I also found a cool book on container gardening! I probably didn't need the book but this man has a system. I'm a sucker for systems. lol
Isn't she a good sport??

The baby blanket is looking marvelous!
Good luck with the smoke smell. I'm glad that the yarn is actually hand washable. Eucalan solved the problem with the alpaca yarn I used for my grandmother's shawl.

I really like the stitch pattern of the baby blanket. And if the vodka doesn't work on the yarn, at least you can drink it and dull the smell a little - lol
The blanket looks great! I better hurry or you are going to beat me :) I hope to see you tonight!
